The history of Seiko began in 1881 when Kintaro Hattori in Ginza (district in Tokyo) opened a store to repair and sell timepieces. In 1913, his company produced the first Japanese wristwatch. After which the art of watchmaking evolved to its current high level.
In 2023, Seiko the 110th anniversary of the first Seiko wristwatch with a series of memorable commemorative watches. Including a new Prospex diving watch that, like all timepieces in the Seiko Watchmaking 110th Anniversary series, draws its inspiration from Seiko's rich history of technology and design.
This watch becomes part of the Save the Ocean series, a collection through which Seiko expresses the Prospex mission to preserve the world's oceans for future generations. Seiko Prospex provides financial and other support to chosen marine charities.

The Seiko collection offers a wide collection of luxury men's and women's watches. An attractive combination of fine design and innovative watchmaking technology. Seiko is one of the few watch manufacturers in the world able to manufacture all watch technologies in-house. The name Seiko is derived from the Japanese "Seikosha" which literally means "House of Precision. Since 1881, Seiko a leader in innovative watches.

Lovely watch; I wear it alternately with my girlfriend. Goes perfectly on both a slim women's wrist and a somewhat chunkier men's wrist. Top device!
I had been looking for a Seiko alpinist for some time. By coincidence I ended up at Brunott through the internet.
The great price was the deciding factor and the watch was delivered quickly.
What made me very happy was the quality and accuracy of the watch. The accuracy can sometimes vary with an automatic watch. I will definitely have it serviced at this jeweler.
