HOW DOES THE PENDANT COME TO THE NECKLACE?

1.5 kilograms of precious metal, three experienced goldsmiths and a full day's work yields 3,000 meters of gold or platinum wire for the Niessing necklace. Sounds like a simple mathematical equation? Well, it's not!

PRECISION

TRADITIONAL CRAFTSMANSHIP

The goldsmiths at Niessing master the ancient craft to perfection: again and again they pull gold and platinum wire through the drawing stones, repeatedly annealing the wire at exactly the right moment. For the perfect shape of the Niessing necklace, it is incredibly important that the wire be given a circular profile.

COSTS

THIS SHINE FROM WITHIN...

Once the wires are ready, they are wrapped with the utmost care and precision around a transparent core of nylon: this enhances the shine of the necklaces from within. Finally, each Niessing necklace is fitted with a hand-polished clasp that closes very easily and securely.
